We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our our company as a Software Design Engineer. The position will involve handling varied, exciting, and challenging projects.
Applicants will be expected to perform the following:

Liaise with clients to produce technical proposals and specifications.
Firmware programming (ANSI C & Assembly).
Write Windows based front ends in Visual Basic.
Produce documentation.

Applicants must have some higher education qualification in C programming with some experience of embedded programming preferably using Microchip PIC microcontrollers.  Candidates must be professional and enthusiastic. Good working knowledge of microcontrollers is essential. Experience of using Visual Basic, MPLAB, C18 compiler, HiTech compiler, CCS compiler, and BoostC compiler would also be an advantage.

Applicants will be expected to perform the following:

Liaise with clients to produce technical proposals and specifications.
Design electronic schematics.
Design PCB layout based on both technical & physical constraints.
Produce bill of materials.
Populate prototype boards (surface mount soldering).
Produce documentation.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the electronics industry. They must have some higher education qualification in electronics or C programming. Candidates must be professional and enthusiastic. Good working knowledge of PIC microcontrollers is essential. Experience of using Proteus or EasyPC would also be an advantage.
