The design of any product is critical to
its future success. To ensure the best
possible results we implement a stepped
approach to the design. This enables
enhancements and improvements throughout the
development period;

Functionality, Requirements, and
Specification
This is an important initial step where the
foundations of the project are laid. We
discuss the product and how it will work.
From this we build up a picture of the
performance and requirements of the project.
We are also able to suggest additional
features or potential issues.

Proposal and Quote
Once we are satisfied we have a good feel
for the product we will formulate a way
forward. This proposal summarises our
understanding of the product and states the
product specifications. It describes
technically any special techniques or
technology we plan to use. From this we can
approximate a time-scale for the work and so
produce a quote.

Prototype design & manufacture
On receipt of order we will set to work
designing the electronics. Once a working
prototype has been manufactured it is
submitted to the client for evaluation. The
project can then either move to the final
stage or have additional features added
based on client feed-back.
Submitting documentation
When the client is satisfied with the
product any final amendments are made to the
documentation to ensure everything is
correct. The documentation is then handed to
the client, this includes everything
required to manufacture the product such as
schematics, Gerber files (PCB), bills of
material, and firmware source code.
For more information on documentation,
manufacture, or any other aspect of the
design process please
